Voice Not Working
Voice input or TTS replies not working? Here are common issues and solutions.
Bot doesn't recognize voice messages
Make sure you're sending a Telegram voice message (press and hold the record button), not an audio file. The Bot uses the Whisper model for speech recognition, supporting most languages. If recognition is inaccurate, try speaking more clearly or reducing background noise.
TTS voice replies not working
First confirm you've enabled voice reply mode (/voice on). If you're in a group chat, TTS is disabled — it only works in private chat. Check if your balance is sufficient, as TTS consumes additional API credits.
Poor voice quality
Try switching to a different voice. Tell the Bot in private chat what voice type you want, or configure the default voice in SOUL.md. Different voices perform differently across languages.
